Bill Bernstein (born 1948) is a successful commercial and editorial photographer working in New York City. His first professional job was for The Village Voice photographing the new fad called ‘disco’, shot by Bernstein from 1978-80.
David Hill is a London-based music consultant and record producer who tracked down Bill Bernstein after finding a rare copy of Night Dancin’, a long-lost low budget publication from 1980 that used Bernstein’s images. Together they went through an archive of 420 rolls of film that had remained untouched for 35 years.
