Edwin Parker "Cy" Twombly, Jr. (Lexington, Virginia, Estados Unidos, 25 de abril de 1928 - Roma, Italia, 5 de julio de 2011) was an American painter, sculptor and photographer. He belonged to the generation of Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns but made the specific choice to live in Europe (Italy) after 1957.
